Billy B. Reynolds

Billy (William Bruce) Reynolds, 57, died Monday, October 27, 2014 at his home in Beatrice. He was born December 27, 1956 at Troy, Missouri to Clifford W. and Harrietta (Young) Reynolds. He moved with his family to Nebraska at the age of 7 and became a Nebraskan and serious "Husker" fan. In 1981, he made his home at The Martin Luther Homes Society group home on Grant Street in Beatrice; 2009 he moved to the new Mosaic Scott Street apartments. Billy was an active member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice, took part in numerous community activities and Special Olympics. He spread JOY, kindness, and light, throughout his life.

Family members include: Parents, Rev. Clifford and Harrietta Reynolds of Beatrice and York; brothers, Jeff and Karen Reynolds of Plymouth, Dr. Andy and Heidi Reynolds of Norfolk; sister, Jennifer and Clark Bauer of Minden; nephew, Curtis Reynolds; nieces, Hallie, Carlie and Alex Bauer, Krista Reynolds, Natalie, Sydney, and Ashlyn Reynolds; Centenary United Methodist Church Family, and his Beatrice Mosaic Family.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00, Monday, November 3 at the Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice, conducted by Rev. Dr. Charles Spence. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Warrenton, Missouri. Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to Beatrice Mosaic, Centenary United Methodist Church, or the donor's choice with the funeral home in charge.
