Trudy A. Johnson Obituary (1963 - 2013)

Trudy A. Johnson, 50 years of age, of Filley passed away unexpectedly at the Beatrice Community Hospital Sunday evening, September 1, 2013. She was born on June 14, 1963 in Beloit, KS to Robert and Margie Johnson. She lived in Beatrice and Filley her entire life. She had been employed at Irwin Tools, Beatrice State Developmental Center, Beatrice Community Hospital, Beatrice High School, and lastly at Great Finds in Holmesville, NE. Trudy was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice. She enjoyed plants, cats, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter Deja Johnson of Lincoln; mother Margie Johnson of Beatrice; brother Tracy Johnson and wife Carol of Eugene, OR; special friend Dan Packett of Filley, his daughters Kim and Danelle Packett, and their children Clint & Layne Packett, and Ander Witthuhn;; aunts and uncles Dolores St. Pierre and husband Robert of Clyde, KS, Sharon Haines, and Gary Johnson, both of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her father Robert L. Johnson (2004). Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice with Reverend Charles Spence officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at the Evergreen Home Cemetery. There will be no viewing, but a register book will be available for signatures from 9-8:00 Friday at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice.
