Treslyn M. Laflin, 25 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Friday afternoon, August 30, 2019. He was born on May 9, 1994 at St. Joseph, MO to John and Alycia (Glavin) Laflin. Treslyn grew up in Wymore, received his GED and attended classes at Southeast Community College in Beatrice. Treslyn and Kassandra Seffron were married on June 29, 2013. He was employed at Charter Communication. He was a Dungeon Master of the D&D Group; was an avid video game player and loved animals. Treslyn was a devoted father and great husband and friend to many.\nSurvivors include his wife Kassandra; children Lilith and Arcadius Laflin; parents John and Alycia Laflin of Wymore; brother Treytyn Laflin of Beatrice; best friend Colton Lytle of Beatrice; niece Maddie Jacobson and nephew Jaxon Beene; and by his dog and best man in his wedding Scooby. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lenora Bartek; and grandfathers Harold McPheron and Virgil Glavin.\nCelebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice. There will be no viewing, but a register book will be available from 10-8:00 on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice with the family greeting friends from 6-7:30 PM. A memorial has been established for a scholarship fund for his children with the funeral home in charge.
