Travis McKinley "Denali" Norris of Beatrice, Nebraska died at home on May 12, 2021. He was born November 26, 1967 at Anchorage, Alaska. Travis attended Wymore High School in Wymore, Nebraska; and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Engineering. Travis worked for National Crane Co. in Lincoln, NE and Capital Tower in Waverly. He moved to Colorado to form his own company, Wireless Limited. He later worked as a spiritual teacher and writer. He married Angela Brees on May 12, 2019. Travis enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking and ice climbing.\nSurvivors include his wife, Angee Norris, daughter, Shiyan Norris, sons, Joshua Norris, Logan Higginbotham, Seth Higginbotham, mother, Phyllis Norris, brother, Tracy [Holly] Norris, and nephew, Jaxon Norris. He was preceded in death by a son, Cody Norris, and his father, Ernest Norris.\nA celebration of life reception will be held at the Wymore Community Center on Thursday, May 20th from 5:00-7:00 pm. We'll share stories and in keeping with Norris family tradition, tacos will be served. Travis was adamant that no one stand around and cry.
