Thelma B. Keck

Thelma B. Keck, 82 years of age, of Sun City West, Arizona, formerly of Wymore, passed away in Sun City West Saturday morning, October 12, 2013. She was born on June 5, 1931 in Holmesville, NE to Daniel and Ella (Cook) Jones, and attended Barneston High School. Thelma and Dallas Keck were married on November 1, 1952 and lived in Wymore before moving to Arizona in 1998. She is a member of the Wymore Church of Christ and the Wymore American Legion Auxiliary Post #25; and Associate member of the First Christian Church of Sun City. Thelma enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren, fishing, crocheting, and watching the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Survivors include her husband Dallas of Sun City West, AZ.; daughters Cynthia Beckman and husband Grant of Nampa, ID, and Barbara Keck and her significant other Mary Hohl of Phoenix, AZ; sons Danny Keck and wife Gina of Blue Springs, NE and James Keck and wife Jullie of Surprise, AZ; 8 grandchildren Shannon and Shawn Beckman, Tatum Kruckenburg, Mindy Thomsen, Steven Keck, Davina Morgan, Ryan Portillo, and Bryce Kruse; 15 great grandchildren; sister Betty Hoefling of Homer, Alaska; and brothers Walter South of Lindsay, CA, Carl South of Gueda Springs, KS, and Fay South and wife Martha of Claremore, OK. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Ella (Cook) Jones; and grandchildren Jasmine & Joshua Keck, and David Beckman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with Jon Palmquist officiating. Interment will be in the Blue Springs Cemetery. The body will lie in state on Thursday from 5-9:00 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with the family greeting friends from 7-8:00, and Friday until the time of the service.
