Steven G. Castro, age 59 passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born in Lincoln on August 13, 1958 to Leon and Nina (Free) Castro. He was a 1976 graduate of Mt. Clemens High School in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Steven loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He cherished all animals, especially his beloved Hazel. He worked as a professional painter in the Lincoln area most of his life.\nSurvivors include his siblings, Terry (Pam) Castro of Alpena, Michigan, Lundy Castro of Hancock, Michigan, Dan (Karen) Castro of Raymond, Nebraska, and Pat (Rick) Deisler of Lincoln, Nebraska; several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Nina Castro and sister-in-law, Nancy Castro.\nA celebration of life gathering will take place from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Park Lodge Community Room, 300 North 7th, Wymore, NE. A private family graveside will take place at the Brethren Cemetery in Holmesville.
