Riley T. Moore Obituary (1935 - 2014)

Riley T. Moore, 79 years of age, of Wymore passed away at Bryan Medical Center West Tuesday morning, November 4, 2014. He was born on August 30, 1935 in Beatrice to Glenn and Fern (Morris) Moore. He served his country in the United States Army from 1956-1958. Riley and Verna were married on July 12, 1958 and he lived in Wymore most of his life. He was employed as a lineman for Nebraska Public Power District. Riley enjoyed everything about trees, sawmills, lumber and woodworking. He enjoyed Husker Volleyball, and collecting and restoring Massey-Ferguson tractors. Riley especially enjoyed time spent with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Verna; daughters Kalynne Breunsbach and husband Brad of Wymore, and Cindy Haden and husband Jay of Lincoln; sons Kendall Moore and wife Francine of Tempe, and Jamie Moore of Wymore; 6 grandchildren Alison (Travis) Simonsen, Whitney (Brent) Cernik, Dusty (Ben) Herink, Jesse (Kate) Almery, Mindy (Steve) Garcia, and Adam Neumann; 5 great grandchildren Max Riley and Owen Simonsen, Evalee Herink, Uriah Smith and Ryder Garcia; sisters Fern (Tom) Gargrave and Clara Adeline (Bill) Weaver, all of Arkansas; brother Todd Moore of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Fern (Morris) Moore; brother Terrence Moore; sister Merrily Forget; and sisters in law Charlotte Moore and Helen Moore. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Wymore Church of Christ with Clayton Lundstedt officiating. There will be no viewing but a register book will be available for signatures Friday from 11-7:00 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with the family greeting friends from 5-7:00. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge. A family prayer service will be held at 1:45 PM Sunday at the church.
