Phyllis L. (England) Vitosh Obituary (1927 - 2012)

Phyllis L. (England) Vitosh, 84 years of age, of Seward, NE., formerly of Beatrice passed away at the Sunrise Country Manor in Milford, NE. Friday morning, February 3, 2012. She was born on April 28, 1927 in Beatrice and was a graduate of Beatrice High School. Phyllis and Harold C. Vitosh were married on March 1, 1946 in Beatrice. She was employed at the Pamida Pharmacy and then was a unit secretary at the Beatrice Community Hospital until she retired. She moved to Seward to live with her daughter in 2002. Phyllis was a member of the First Christian Church in Beatrice and was a 40 year honorary member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Odell. She really enjoyed spending time with her pet dogs. Survivors include her daughter Lecia Ann Vitosh of Seward; son Mike Vitosh and wife Kelly of Odell; 2 grandsons Steven A. Vitosh of Kearney, and Michael Vitosh of Dallas; granddaughter Cindy Ruyle of Liberty; and 2 great grandchildren Jacob and Lydia Ruyle. She was preceded in death by her mother Esther Hall England; and husband Harold C. Vitosh (1989). Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice with Reverend David Bigley officiating. Inurnment will be in the Odell Cemetery. There will be no viewing, but a register book will be available from 10-8:00 Tuesday at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice.
