Noah Jordan Koerwitz Obituary (2012 - 2013)

Noah Jordan Koerwitz, the 1 month old son of Emily Brown and Jordan Koerwitz passed at the St. Elizabeth Regional Hospital in Lincoln Thursday night, January 17, 2013. He was born on December 17, 2012. Survivors include his parents Emily Brown and Jordan Koerwitz of Beatrice; by his Opa, Dwayne VanHauen of Wellsburg, IA., by his grandparents, Linda and Allen Mangold of Summerfield, KS., Jim Koerwitz, Lisa Dudgeon, and Mike Dudgeon, all of Hebron, NE.; great grandmother Norma Dutcher of Hebron; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Noah was preceded in death by great grandparents Richard Dutcher, Ralph and Lois Koerwitz, Martha and Herman VanHauen, Robert Samas, and Dorothy Velvick. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the St. John Lutheran Church with Reverend Glenn Schacht officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 1:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice only, and not at the church, and his family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M.-8:00 P.M. A family prayer service will be held at 10:15 A.M. Thursday in the chapel of the church.
