Lynda Ann Bryson age 85 of Wymore, passed away on September 29, 2023. She was born in Ranger, Texas on April 9, 1938 to Lynn and Lena (Truex) Harden. She was a woman of exceptional compassion and dedication and did small things with great love every day of her life, impacting countless individuals in her community and beyond.\n\nLynda was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School, class of 1956, and went on to have a rewarding career as a social worker, serving the Health and Human Services Department from 1970 till her retirement in 2004 and then at the Wymore Public Library. Her dedication to others extended beyond her professional life; she was an active member of the PEO Chapter Q, Daughters of the American Revolution, and was a passionate advocate for people and animals. In her free time, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life: flower gardening, walking her many dogs over the years, attending family activities, and spending time at her beloved Riverside Farm. \n\nLynda is survived by her children, Frank (Debra) Disney, Dan (Charlene) Disney, Kathy Disney (Curt Donaldson), and Kent (Ronda) Disney; stepson, Tom (Linda) Bryson; grandchildren, Jennifer Disney, Paul Disney, Autumn (Skyler) Burmeister, and Danae (Trevor) Plessel; step grandson, Leon (Sue) Bryson; great grandchildren, Trent, Delia, Bryson, Cheslor, Banks, Samantha, Tina, and Xavier; several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Lena Harden, her husband, Dale Bryson, her daughter Susan Howard, and her sister Sylvia Maxfield.\n\nA memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on October 13, 2023 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with Jon Palmquist officiating. A family prayer service will start at 10:45 AM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on October 12th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Springs Cemetery Association with the funeral home in charge.
