Lucile Ann Wiese Obituary (1942 - 2016)

Lucile Ann Wiese, age 74, of Wymore passed away on Sunday morning, August 14, 2016 at The Good Samaritan Center in Wymore. She was born on April 12, 1942 to Carl and Hattie (Guenther) Penner in Beatrice. She attended Odell High School. Lucile was a nurse aide for several years but spent most of her life staying home raising her children. She loved working in her yard and collecting horses. Lucile adored her grandchildren and enjoyed attending all of their activities. Survivors include her children, Jolene Schmidt of Wymore and Lee Lancaster of Lincoln; grandchildren, Travis (Jen) Schmidt, Heather Lancaster, Nick Lancaster, and Olivia Lancaster; great grandchildren, Bradley, Logan, and Victoria Schmidt; sister, Carolina (Lloyd) Vanlaningham; and brother, Steven (Charlot) Penner. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Terry Lancaster. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with Reverend Lori Miller officiating. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 10:00-9:00 P.M. at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with family greeting guests from 6:00-8:00, and until the service on Thursday.
