Kelvin LeRoy Bigley Obituary (1959 - 2015)

Kelvin Bigley, 56, of Wymore, NE passed away at the Beatrice Community Hospital Monday evening, September 28, 2015. He was born on August 29, 1959 in Clark, SD to Duane and Beatrice (Palmer) Bigley. He lived in Watertown, SD, Lincoln, NE, and in Wymore, NE for the past 27 years. Kelvin worked at Beatrice Sanitation for 8 years, and also at the Blue Springs Co-op. He enjoyed carpentry, storytelling and playing cards, especially Sequence. Kelvin collected many things during his life, enjoyed working in the garage, on the lawn, and tinkering with different projects. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Belding, of Wymore; sons, Kenny Bigley, and wife Amanda, of Adams, NE, and Adam Bigley, of Lincoln; daughter Cheri Schultz, of Lincoln; grandchildren, Kyler and Mae Bigley, and Austin, Kielian, and Bree Schultz, and two sisters. Kelvin is preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, one granddaughter, and his brother. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday (with casual dress encouraged) at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with Clayton Lundstedt officiating. Interment will be at the Blue Springs Cemetery following the service. The body will lie in state Thursday from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm, and until the service on Friday. A memorial has been established in Kelvin's honor to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
