Janet S. Dreyer

Janet S. Dreyer, 83 years of age, of Beatrice passed away at Beatrice Health and Rehab Wednesday morning, February 1, 2017. She was born on January 14, 1934 in Alton, Ill. to Leo and Lillian (Westhoff) McCauley. Janet was a 1952 graduate of Jerseyville High School in Jerseyville, Ill. Janet married George Dreyer in May of 1964. She had been employed as a secretary for an insurance company before being disabled.

Survivors include her 2 sons Kevin Dreyer of Beaver Crossing, Ne, and Don Dreyer of California; sister Judith Loeber of Concordia, MO; and her friend and POA Janice Funderburg of Beatrice.

It was Janet's direction that no services be held at this time. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has taken place. Her ashes will be buried next to her husband at the Ridgewood Cemetery in Chicago, Ill.

These services have been entrusted to the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice.
