Harlan D. Hubka

Harlan D. Hubka, 80 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Friday morning, September 4, 2015. He was born on December 4, 1934 in Beatrice to Charles and Mildred (Vokach) Hubka. Harlan was a graduate of Beatrice High School, University of Nebraska, and the University Of Nebraska College Of Law, and had practiced law in Beatrice for over 50 years. He was a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, and the Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice. Harlan enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling.

Survivors include his sons Chuck Hubka and his wife Kathleen, and Jeff Hubka and his wife Shelli; and granddaughter Lauren Hubka, all of Beatrice. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Mildred (Vokach) Hubka; and brothers Roy Hubka and his wife Helen, and Willard Hubka and his wife Jean.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice with Father Steve Major officiating.
