Gertrude Jungbluth, 93 of Beatrice, NE, passed away on May 25,2019 at The Ambassador in Lincoln, NE. She had resided at Lancaster Manor in Lincoln, NE. Gertrude was born on May 27, 1925 in O'Neill, NE. to Jack and Elizabeth (Schroder) Jones. She was baptized at Methodist Episcopal Church April 8th, 1928. Gertrude married Fred Jungbluth of Chambers, NE. on her birthday May 27, 1947. They farmed by Chambers and then moved their family to Beatrice, NE. in 1956 and had 4 sons.\nShe enjoyed crocheting (afghan and potholders), playing bingo, doing word search puzzles, car rides and spending time with her sons. She liked spending time with Chuck & Genelle's dogs Duke & Mikayla. Gertrude liked the 1964 Chevy. She also greatly appreciated the time she spent with her roommate Verna and her family. They made her feel really special. \nSurvivors include sons Ronald Jungbluth of Wayne NE, Charles Jungbluth and wife Genelle of Lincoln,NE. and Edward Jungbluth and wife Beth of Beatrice, NE: Grandsons Eric Jungbluth of Denver, Colorado, Todd Jungbluth, Army Special Forces of Okinawa, Japan, and Wade Jungbluth and special friend, Nicole Richards of Beatrice, NE; step grandson Aaron Kassing and wife Kelly of Denton, NE; step great grandchildren Easton and Kyson Kassing of Denton, NE, Alexis and Dillon Richards of Beatrice, NE; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; sister Mary; son Donald; great granddaughter Maya Jamie; and several in-laws.\nPrivate family graveside service will be held at the Evergreen Home Cemetery at a later date.There will be no visitation as Gertrude's wishes were to be cremated.
