Gale A. Sedlacek, age 74 of Wymore, passed away on September 27, 2019 at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln. He was born in Beatrice on October 1, 1944 to Glen and Elinor (Cullison) Sedlacek. He was a graduate of Barneston High School. On February 21, 1970, Gale was united in marriage to Gail Mailahn. He farmed for several years and also worked as a janitor and bus driver for Liberty Schools. Gale enjoyed hunting, fishing, reloading shells, woodworking, watching football, playing chess and cards, walking, and attending his son's and grandchildren's ball games.\nThose left to mourn his passing are his wife Gail; son, Jeff Sedlacek and wife Michelle of Wymore; grandchildren, Brandon Sedlacek and wife Courtney and Calan Sedlacek all of Adams, and Aryel and Autumn Lane of Wymore; brother, Lowell Sedlacek and wife Nancy of Beatrice; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bruce and Dennis Sedlacek; and nephew, Chris Sedlacek.\nA memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Wymore Church of Christ with Clayton Lundstedt officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Blue Springs Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
