F. Dianne Clark Obituary (1947 - 2013)

F. Dianne Clark, 66 years of age, of DeWitt, NE passed away at her home Monday afternoon, October 7, 2013. She was born on February 16, 1947 in Beatrice to Ernest "Shorty" and Dorothy (Crate) Beerenstrauch and lived in DeWitt her entire life. Dianne was a 1965 graduate of DeWitt High School and attended nursing school for one year in Lincoln. Dianne and Richard Mullen were married until he passed away, and Dianne then married Bob Clark on April 16, 2005. She had been employed at Petersen Manufacturing in DeWitt for 35 years and retired in 2007. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in DeWitt; member and past president of the DeWitt Community Club; and was a member of the Beatrice Garden Club. Dianne enjoyed yard work, attending auctions, collecting Fenton Glass, and traveling. Survivors include her husband Bob; Son Kyle Mullen of Beatrice; grandchildren Kaleb, Kasey, Kylie and Kloie Mullen; father Ernest "Shorty" Beerenstrauch of Wilber; sister Elaine Burger and husband Brian of Plymouth; and 2 nieces. Dianne was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy (Crate) Beerenstrauch; her first husband Richard Mullen; and grandson Ryne Mullen. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in DeWitt with Reverend Ken Kramer and Bob Clark officiating. Burial of her ashes will take place at a later date. There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place, but a register book will be available at the Venrick-Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in DeWitt from 11-9:00 PM on Monday. A memorial has been established to the Matt Talbot Kitchen in Lincoln with the funeral home in charge. A family prayer service will be held at 10:45 AM Tuesday at the church.
