Darlene Menninga

Darlene Idella Menninga, age 94, of Summerfield, KS passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Darlene was born on April 20, 1932 in Sioux City, Iowa to Irvin and Eleanora (Usher) Snyder. She had one older brother, Irvin Snyder. Darlene married Alvin B. Menninga on February 29, 1952. They were blessed with 46 years of marriage. Together they have three children, Steven, Monica, and Duane.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin; brother, Irvin, and daughter-in-law, Cheryl. She is survived by her children, Steven Menninga and Monica (Joy) Renz of Summerfield, Kansas and Duane (Cathy) Menninga of Warsaw, MO; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
