Darcey Jo (Rownd) Kujath, age 43 of Wymore passed away at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln on October 24, 2019. She was born in Beatrice on July 29, 1976 to Jerrell "Jerry" and WinterGail (McPheron) Rownd. She was united in marriage to Mark Kujath on December 15, 2018. Darcey was a foster parent and cared for many people in her life. She was a past member of Wymore EMS and was a volunteer of the Blue Springs Ball Diamond Association. She enjoyed following her daughter's softball team and watching softball, NASCAR, and college football. She also enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and was a huge Luke Bryan fan. She was known as "Mama Darcey" to just about every child she met, and she took great pride in all her kids.\nThose left to mourn her passing are her husband, Mark; children, Jacoby Ullman and Joleana Ullman of Wymore; stepsons, Travis Kujath and wife Jasmine, Trevor Kujath and special friend Ria; foster children, Seth, Noah, and Shay; grandchildren, Taiven & Bryar Kujath; father, Jerry Rownd of Wymore; grandmother, Dona McPheron; brothers John Lee Laflin and wife Alycia of Wymore, Jeff Rownd of Wymore, and Jerome Rownd of Colorado; uncle, Bob Rownd; Lori Wolf; special nephews, Jac Allington and Waylon McPheron; several other nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; sister, Donanna Rownd; mother-in-law, Barb Kujath, and nephew, Treslyn Laflin.\nMemorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with Clayton Lundstedt officiating. Burial of ashes will be at the Blue Springs Cemetery. There will be no viewing, but a register book will be available at the funeral home on Friday, November 8th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project with the funeral home in charge.
