Clinton W. Swanson Obituary (1960 - 2015)

Clinton W. Swanson, 55 years of age, of Liberty, NE passed away unexpectedly at his home Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015. He was born on April 15, 1960 in Denver to Melvin and Rosemary (Stubblefield) Swanson, and was a graduate from Logan High School in Logan, KS. Clint served his country in the United States Army from 1977-1989. He had been employed at a pet food producer in Pawnee City, had been a guard at the Tecumseh prison, and was currently working at NEAPCO in Beatrice. He had lived in Liberty since 2002. Clint was a member of the Liberty City Council, and enjoyed fishing and hunting, and collected guns and fishing rods. Survivors include his mother Rosemary Horn of Logan, KS; and brothers Jeff Husband and wife Janice of Hill City, KS, and Bob Husband and wife Kathy of Andell, KS. He was preceded in death by his father Melvin Swanson; and 2 brothers and 1 sister. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Liberty American Legion Club. Burial of his ashes will be at the Logan Cemetery, Logan, KS at a later date.
