Charles "Chuck" G. Hixson Obituary (1945 - 2020)

Charles Gary "Chuck" Hixson, 74, passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at the Lucas County Health Center in Chariton, Iowa. Charles was born December 16, 1945 at the Yocum Hospital in Chariton, Iowa to Arthur Burton Hixson and Lorene Delois Davis Hixson. Chuck attended Chariton Public Schools graduating from Chariton High School with the class of 1964. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Darl Hixson and one granddaughter Cydnie Hixson. Charles is survived by his wife Sandra Hixson, sisters Phyllis (Don) Adams of DesMoines, Iowa and Mildred J. Wlliams of Ames, Iowa, daughter Sharla S. (Roger) Rew/Anderson of Williamson, Iowa, grandson Caleb Rew of Kansas City, MO, and great granddaughter Novala Nicole Downing of Chariton, Iowa. Also survived by Brother inlaws Tom (Carol) Jurgens, Dave Jurgens, Ron (Susan) Jurgens, several nieces and nephews and lastly his best friend and buddy his beloved dog Beau.
