Adams, Nebraska
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Beth Anne Delabar on June 13, 2026 in Beatrice. Born in Adams, Nebraska on June 7, 1952, Beth spent her 74 years enriching the lives of those around her with her compassionate heart, generous spirit, and humble nature.
Beth was a light of her Adams community and was known for her loving spirit. She graduated from Adams High School in 1970, and attended beauty school, marrying her beloved Robert "Bob" Delabar on December 26, 1970. Beth was a dedicated caretaker at Rainbow World Day Care in Beatrice and later at Goldcrest Child Care in Adams, a role that allowed her to extend her nurturing nature to many beyond her own family. Her hobbies, which included tending her flowers and raising and riding horses, were a testament to her gentle and caring personality. Beth was also an avid Husker volleyball fan, showing us that passion and support extend beyond the confines of family and work. As a member of the United Methodist Church in Adams, she taught Sunday School, further demonstrating her commitment to her community. Above all, what mattered most to Beth was her family, and supporting them unconditionally in all of their activities and interests.
Beth is survived by her daughters, Kim Barnes of Clatonia, Jill (Alan) Rogman of Tecumseh, Becky (Leo) Wounded Arrows of Adams, and Tracey (Luke) Moore of Munden, KS; by her beloved 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Dean (Sue) McPherson and Donna (Robin) Mulder. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Thelma (Johnston) McPherson; her husband Robert Delabar; her infant sons, Robert Edward and Matthew Donald Delabar; and by her brother, Steve McPherson. As Mother Teresa once said, "The most important thing is not what we do, but the love we put into doing it." Beth embodied this sentiment, pouring love into every aspect of her life and her family’s lives.
