Alice L. Bent, age 57 of Beatrice, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in on July 19, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri to Theodore "Ted" and Bonnie (Shepardson) McCade. She was a 1979 graduate of Rollins High School in Rollins, Wyoming. On August 29, 1997, she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Bent. Alice worked as a supervisor lead for Neapco since 2004. Alice was a hard worker who would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors making yard art, working on cars and doing yardwork. She specially loved kids and treated every child she encountered as her own grandchild.\nLeft to mourn her passing are her husband, Bill; children, Alicia and Sydney; grandchildren, Alyjah, Theodore, and Kash; 3 sisters; 5 brothers; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.\nFuneral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Wymore Church of Christ with Clayton Lundstedt officiating. Burial will be at the Wymore Cemetery. The body will lie in state on Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00-7:30 PM, and in state at the church one hour prior to the service Saturday. A memorial has been established to Wigs For Kids with the funeral home in charge.
