Agnes D. Baugh Obituary (1917 - 2013)

Agnes D. Baugh, 95 years of age, of Lincoln, formerly on Beatrice passed away at the Homestead Healthcare and Rehab Center in Lincoln Tuesday morning, April 30, 2013. She was born on December 24, 1917 in Davey, NE to William and Hanora (Neylon) Dillon. Agnes and Robert A. Baugh were married on January 18, 1947 in Maysville, KS and moved to Beatrice in 1962. She was a radiology technologist at the Beatrice Community Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1984. Agnes was a past member of the B.P.O. Does and had been an officer for 5 years; life member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary; life member and past president of the Nebraska State Radiology Society; and was honored by the Nebraska Hospital Association as one of the first "Caring Kind" award winners. Agnes enjoyed crocheting. Survivors include her sister Hannora Hoppmann of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Hanora (Neylon) Dillon; husband Robert; brothers Leonard, Leo and Linus Dillon; and sister Mary Scheurs. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has taken place.
